OAN Services, Inc. added to a non asked for service to my bill.

I have a $15.95 charge on my phone bill (Embarq) from OAN Services, Inc.. This is the second time this has occurred. I have spoken with my phone company both times, to which they replied with a number to call OAN.
The service added was for something called "Streaming Radio". I called OAN and was put on hold forever. Then was switched to a "leave a message" answering machine. I don't even know what "Streaming Radio" is!!!!!! Why can't thing crap be stopped????? The phone company providers just brush the customer off.

There is a charge of $9.23 on my bill from OAN. For EMAIL & ONLINE STORAGE, I didn't subscribe to this service and i am pissed!!!!!!!

I finally got credit on my phone bill, it took 3 months, crediting a little each month, from OAN. Told my phone company to put blocks for these kind of services. Yes, had to threaten both companies!!

billed 14.95 then 8.95 set up fee for streaming radio. when we called embarq, they told us we were already charged for the month of October...it only mid-Sept!!!!
how can embarq accept these bills from a 3rd party when they were not authorized?

These OAN people screwed me too and finally got them to credit me. Threats helped alot. Some problems
can be averted by opting out of any '3rd party' billing with your local phone company, such as verizon or SBC ATT etc. This worked well and I have not had a recurrence.

We were just charged 7.32 for Directory Assist. services to Nevada of all places. No one here made the call and when I called the phone company, they told me to call OAN and the guy immediately tried to sell me something though I told him I wanted my bill credited. Fraudulent is what I say and I am going to contact several govt. people on this.

My boyfriends mother was billed and oan give her confirmation # but I live across town from her and oan told her its was done from my e-mail address I want some answers.
